Art Deco apartment building with a commercial ground floor, designed by the architect J. Vermeersch in 1928 on the corner of avenue des Azalées, alongside the circular railway line. This three-fronted building in red brick enhanced with white stone has five storeys beneath a pseudo-mansard and flat roof, some bays rising one storey higher, including a forward section and trapezoidal oriels. Three shops were planned, one on the corner and one on each street. Stepped brick projections, surrounds and spandrels, open-work parapets and a pier carved with an owl enliven the building, which bears on the avenue Deschanel side a stone plaque commemorating Paul Deschanel. The grilled door to the flats survives; the building is recorded in the inventory.
