Art Deco ensemble of a town house (no. 27) and a rental building (no. 28), designed by the architects Jean and R. Michiels in 1929. The differentiated façades, in brick enhanced with rendered elements and blue stone, have trapezoidal projections and stepped surrounds, pilasters and brick panels; the doors with geometric wrought-iron grilles survive. At no. 27, the four-storey elevation in thin grey 'Boom tiles' carries an oriel under a terrace and a widely projecting cornice with fluting and mutules. No. 28, in orange brick, has an asymmetrical composition. The ensemble is recorded in the inventory.
