Art Deco commercial and residential building erected in 1932 for the businessman Guillaume Prist, a dealer in sanitary ware and plumbing supplies, to a design by the architect Adolphe Van Coppernolle. The fully symmetrical seven-bay, three-storey cornice façade combines a white natural-stone facing with a ground floor clad in polished black granite; giant pilasters with a chevron profile and two three-sided bay windows articulate the upper section. The owner's apartment largely retains its Art Deco interior, including the entrance hall clad in several types of marble and a bathroom tiled in colourful patterns. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
