Town house in a sober Art Deco style, built for Alfons Guillaume to a design by the architect Adolphe Van Coppernolle (1928). The cornice façade of two unequal bays and three storeys, in red brick generously combined with natural stone on a bluestone plinth, emphasises the wider and taller side projection, marked on the upper floor by a three-sided oriel on a swelling console and a wrought-iron balcony. The stepped mouldings and crowning, elongated keystones and stylised low-relief ornament are typical Art Deco features; the ironwork of the door and balcony forms a pattern of spirals and flower baskets.
