An Art Deco villa in the ocean-liner style, designed in 1938 by the architect Willy Minnigh for Colonel Serckx and signed with a stone reading "W. Minnigh architecte" in the plinth; the building permit is dated 1 April 1938. On a complex plan with projecting and recessed volumes, it has two storeys under a flat roof on the street side and three at the rear, because of the slope of the plot. The partly continuous window registers, the moulded cornice, the balconies and the window sills emphasise the horizontal, and the large rounded balcony under an overhanging roof, with a tubular railing, evokes the promenade deck of a cruise ship. The entrance is emphasised by coloured brick, decorative bands in brickwork and render, and Art Deco ironwork, and the door retains its original Art Deco handle. The villa and its enclosed garden have been protected as a monument since 2014.
