An Art Deco apartment building with a café-brasserie on the ground floor, designed in 1934 by the architect Willy Minnigh for the brewers J. Aerts & Fils. The six-storey, H-plan building has a symmetrical elevation marked on its axis by a continuous oriel, flanked by balconies with curved parapets, and crowned by a frieze of tori. The brasserie, whose interior has been altered, originally had stained glass by Crickx and a frieze by the sculptor Pierre Crocq evoking the brewing industry; the hexagonal roof light of patterned glass above the bar survives. The building is recorded in the legal inventory.
