Art Deco apartment building on the corner of Rue des Chardons, signed and dated on the plinth "J. VAN CAMP / ARCHITECTE 1933". The six-storey elevation under a flat roof, in orange brick with rendered sections, has three bays towards the street and four towards the avenue, joined at an obtuse angle. On the street side rises a four-storey oriel; on the avenue side the first three bays form a five-storey projection fronted by trapezoidal oriels, all these projections carrying terraces. The round-arched pedestrian entrance has an imposing stepped surround incorporating lanterns. Wrought-iron railings and window bars survive, and the building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
