Ocean liner-inspired Art Deco block of flats, signed on the base by the architect Charles De Kempeneer, 1937; the same architect designed the neighbouring buildings up to no. 182. The seven-storey elevation, the top floor an attic beneath a flat roof, is in thin orange brick enhanced with bluestone and rendered sections, with black ceramic tiles and white stone on the ground floor. A wide trapezoidal oriel, two bays wide and five storeys high, is pierced by ribbon windows wrapping the corners and flanked by curved-cornered balconies with tubular railings. It carries an overhanging terrace with curved corners, interrupted in the axis by a cylindrical volume evoking an ocean liner's funnel. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
