Ocean liner-inspired Art Deco block of flats, signed on the base by the architect Charles De Kempeneer, 1936; the same architect designed the neighbouring buildings (nos. 174-176, 180 and 182). The four-storey elevation, in yellow brick, is enhanced with bluestone and midnight-blue and orange ceramic tiles. An oriel with a curved corner, pierced by ribbon windows, extends to the left into balconies of the same plan with tubular handrails; continuous window sills end in volutes. The door with convex jambs and an asymmetrical grilled opening has been preserved. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
