Building of three flats built for H. Jacobs to a design by the architect Ferdinand Van Mierlo (1924, façade inscription); a year later the architect reworked the design, extended by one bay, for his own house in Kerkstraat. The three-bay, three-storey façade, faced in white natural stone, is dominated on the upper floors by a bow window with triple windows between giant corner pilasters. Typical of Van Mierlo and of geometric Art Deco, the ground floor is covered with a diamond-point pattern under a fluted frieze, the parapets of the bow window bear a wave pattern with shells and a trapezoidal profile with rosettes, and a fluted frieze crowns the façade.
