Theatre and cinema hall with a café and dwelling, built in the Art Deco style for Allijn Prudent to a 1921 design by architect Ferdinand Van Mierlo, and remodelled in 1931 by the same architect for the same client. The façade on Heistraat, of three storeys and three bays under a flat roof, is marked on the right by a three-sided oriel rising above the recessed entrance porch; originally in brown brick and light natural stone, it is now rendered and painted black, with its mouldings, some with a stylised floral relief, picked out in gold. The hall, converted into a function room in 1981, has been returned to its original state: the proscenium arch, the horseshoe balcony and the ceiling are richly decorated with stucco flower garlands, and the arches above the balcony rest on caryatids and atlantes. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
