Shop building signed 'Ernest.Apers.Architekt.', designed in 1921 by Ernest Apers, and the neighbouring tavern (number 22) by the same architect and of the same year, built in a similar way with a similar façade featuring a central bay window. The three-storey shop building under a tiled gable roof has a geometric Art Deco façade of yellow brick enlivened with white stone, with a top curving in and out. The first two storeys, of skeleton construction, are designed as shop spaces; a curved balcony runs across the full width of the façade, with a renewed balustrade. The rectangular windows have narrow glazing bars in the transoms, and the shopfront has been altered. The ensemble is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
