Art Deco terraced building designed in 1938 by Ernest Apers (Roeselare) as a garage with workshop and showroom, of three bays and two storeys under a flat roof. Built of red brick and concrete on a bluestone plinth, it makes decorative use of black stone and black coping tiles. The symmetrical cornice façade has a raised central bay, marked by a rounded three-part bay window set between the canopy of the carriage entrance, with rounded piers, and a crowning element between pedestals; the side bay has rectangular windows and, on the ground floor, round glass blocks beneath the string course. The whole was originally far more colourful, the rounded piers being clad in black-lacquered panels separated by green bands and the string course painted light green; the fanlights bore the words 'Buyck' (sic), 'Pontiac' and 'Service'. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
