Maison Art déco, Leenstraat 15 — Roulers

House of 1934 in a geometric Art Deco, from an unsigned permit application: two bays and three storeys under a flat roof, in brick now painted white on a natural-stone plinth. The play of volumes rests on a bay window rising through two storeys, flanked on the left by a pier and chamfered and roughcast on the right, while the door bay rises above the roofline. The decoration comes from the brick bonds, including dogtooth and chequerboard patterns, and a strongly projecting wooden cornice enlivened with linear motifs. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
