Town house in the Art Deco style, built to a 1932 design by the local architect Jan Sels for F. Caes; its façade, in a robust brick expressionism, links directly according to the inventory to geometric Art Deco and shows the influence of the Amsterdam School, setting it apart from the ornamental Art Deco and cottage style that then dominated Boekenberglei. Of two bays and two storeys under a brick pseudo-mansard, it has a polychrome facing of yellow-orange, wine-red and yellow-brown bricks, combining various bonds, fanning bricks on edge around the openings and Dudok joints. Entirely symmetrical, the façade has on the ground floor two deep round-arched openings with stepped reveals, for the entrance and the garage, a wide horizontal window on the bel-étage and a mitre-shaped gable with two trapezoidal windows; the original joinery and ironwork have gone. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
