A multi-family house in Deurne, designed in 1932 by the architect Jan Sels for P. De Keulenaer and raised by a storey in 1935, also to his designs. It belongs to a row of adjoining houses by Sels (nos. 35, 37, 39, 43 and 45), of which nos. 37 to 45 form a group in a geometric Art Deco style. The brick facade on a high bluestone plinth is dominated by a semicircular oriel entirely in natural stone on the first floor, and the shell-shaped gable of 1932 was reused when the house was raised. The Art Deco metal fence of the front garden and the original front door joinery have been preserved.
