Spacious town house designed in 1929 in the Art Deco style by the architect Henri Vaerwyck-Suys for Karel Bekaert-Van Loo, who had already engaged him in 1924 for his house at no. 161 and in 1927 for the five apartment buildings at nos. 111-131. With two entrances and a double-fronted elevation, it has three bays and three storeys under a mansard roof of red slates with three dormers. The façade is symmetrical about a narrow door bay, between a carriage-entrance bay, with a wooden garage door with decorative leaded glass, and a window bay; the squat ground floor, rendered with imitation joints, serves as a plinth for the brown-brick upper part, framed by pilasters. A full-width rendered oriel with chamfered sides and continuous drip mouldings dominates the first floor around a central covered balcony, and the three openings of the second floor give onto the wide balcony above it; the window joinery is recent. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
