Asymmetrical Art Deco town house, signed on its canopy 'A. Van Gompel / archit. 1933'. The orange-brick façade with emphasised horizontal joints, enlivened with blue stone, opens onto a recessed entrance porch with curved walls of upright bricks, beneath a cornice forming a canopy topped by a small stained-glass lantern. The main bay, set in a recess with splayed reveals, carries a curved bow window above a wide window, while the entrance bay has a small triangular balcony. Decoration of small parallel blue-stone slabs and a cornice on consoles of diminishing size complete the composition; most of the joinery survives. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
