Art Deco town house with an asymmetrical composition, designed in 1926 by the architect A. Van Gompel for his own account, like the neighbouring house. The two-storey elevation under a mansard slope and flat roof is in red brick, set off with white stone and imitation stone, on a base of green Gileppe sandstone rubble. A small, slightly projecting entrance porch with grooved piers and a three-sided roof shelters a door with cut-off upper corners beneath an octagonal oculus; an oval oculus pierces the upper floor and a bow window enlivens the upper floor. The timber cornice rests on stepped geometric stone brackets, and most of the joinery with glazing bars survives; the house is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
