Art Deco house signed and dated on the ground floor by the architect Adolphe Staatje in 1928, the result of the thorough remodelling of a neoclassical house from 1875. The elevation of two bays and five storeys combines roughcast, smooth render and brick, with trapezoidal windows on the first and top storeys. On the second and top storeys, trapezoidal balconies carry wrought-iron railings with geometric patterns of triangles and spirals, and geometric motifs in relief decorate the spandrels. The set-back top storey is flanked by brick pilasters capped by stepped brackets supporting a wide-eaved wooden cornice with a coffered soffit. The house is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
