Art Deco social housing block erected in 1930 on the corner of Rue Vanderschrick for the Foyer saint-gillois, signed on the ground floor by the architect Oscar Hallaux. The six-storey elevation combines a ground floor, now rendered, with brick upper floors enlivened with rendered elements which, except for the entrance bay, are corbelled out over a base course with dentils and stucco floral decoration punctuated by fluted brackets. The ground floor, originally faced with ceramic tiles, housed two shops; the building underwent a thorough renovation in 1998.
