Maison Art déco, chaussée de Boondael 393

Art Deco town house signed « Posno / architecte », 1927. The three-storey, three-bay façade is in brick laid in geometric bonds, heightened with bluestone elements. The narrow entrance bay has a door under a six-sided polygonal arch; to the right, two identical bays have an eight-sided polygonal-arched opening on the ground floor and project slightly on the upper floors. A substantial overhanging cornice precedes a pseudo-mansard under a flat roof with a dormer; the original joinery survives on the upper floors. The building is recorded in the inventory.
