Maison Art déco, rue des Hellènes 8

Art Deco house of 1937, signed at base level "Fr. Mees architecte D.E.S.L.B.". The red-brick façade has two storeys beneath a mansard roof, on a painted bluestone base. The upper floor is almost entirely taken up by an imposing brick bow window with curved corners, whose base consists of a series of semicircles. The lower roof slope has a dormer with brick mullions; the window frames have been replaced. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
