Immeubles du Crédit mutuel hypothécaire — quartier des Carmes

Two apartment buildings designed together in 1928-1929 by the architect Édouard Frankinet for the Crédit mutuel hypothécaire, whose initials “CMH” crown the façades. In white cast stone, the corner building stands out for its caryatids supporting a balcony, its bow window and a large foliated medallion; both façades share the floral decoration with geometric spirals typical of the Carmes district.
