Apartment building with a shop on the ground floor, built in 1928-1929 by the architect Édouard Frankinet for the Crédit Mutuel Hypothécaire, whose 'CMH' inscription crowns the façade; it contributes to the Art Deco consistency of the Quartier des Carmes. The painted cast-stone elevation, two bays wide and four storeys high, is dominated by a bay window over the top two storeys, with balconies whose wrought-iron railings bear an inverted flower-basket motif. The second-storey windows are framed by stylised plant ornament, and a large scalloped dormer opens in the mansard roof.
