Semi-detached villa 'Nautilus-Arcadië', designed in 1927 by the Antwerp architect Léon Stynen and built in 1928 according to the land register; together with numbers 5 and 9 it forms an ensemble of two semi-detached villas. In cottage and Art Deco style, it fits into the dune slope through integrated stairs and plateaus. Its robust brick volumes under large gabled roofs with overhanging half-timbered gables are enlivened by oriels and terraces. The lower part was altered in the 1940s by P.-A. Janssens; the ensemble has been a protected monument since 2004.
