Semi-detached town house designed in 1927 by the architect Edward Van Not, municipal architect of Deurne, for Ernest Vercammen, in a rich Art Deco style influenced by the Amsterdam School. The red brick façade on a bluestone plinth, combined with imitation stone, plays on the roof volumes and a low corner section with a terrace, decorated with geometric reliefs of shields, plants and flowers. The ground floor retains its Art Deco interior finishes: parquet, terrazzo floors, panelling in the former veranda and glazed doors with polychrome geometric leaded glass. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
