Art Deco three-unit apartment house designed in 1927 by the architect Pierre Backer-Overbeek for J. Jallet; it belongs to a homogeneous row of six houses (nos. 7 to 17). The red brick cornice façade on a bluestone plinth is dominated by a two-storey bow window in imitation stone, whose panelled breastworks bear Art Deco reliefs with beading, flower vase and spiral motifs. A broad fluted frieze finishes the façade; the glazed front door and the ironwork of the balcony and front garden fence survive. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
