Semi-detached town house in a sober Art Deco style, built as the home of the diamond dealer Wolf Jahr to a 1927 design by the architect Hendrik Delvaux; predating the Exhibition district, it forms with the Masso, Maes and Zech-Steyteheff houses a group of four houses paired two by two. Of two bays and two storeys under a slate pseudo-mansard, it has façades of brown hand-moulded brick on a blue-stone base, enlivened with white Brauvilliers stone in the lintels, sills, bands, bay window and curved pediment. According to the inventory, the Art Deco character is expressed with restraint in the decorative brickwork of the bay window, the volutes of the dormer and pediment and the profiled wooden cornice, and more clearly in the railing of the side entrance, with a typical geometric pattern. Damaged by a V-bomb in 1944, the house retains its glazed wooden front door. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
