Semi-detached town house in Wilrijk, in a sober Art Deco style with modernist features, built for the clerk H. Van Dyck to a 1931 design by Jean Alphonse Pots. Two storeys high under a flat roof with widely projecting eaves, it is built in brown brick with white joints and rendered horizontal bands. In the street front, whose wide right-hand bay is treated as a projection, the ground floor has a three-sided bay window under a canopy and, on the upper floor, a convex window whose mullions are formed of a double row of brick dentils; the side façade, which holds the entrance, is marked by a projection with a stepped gable bearing a stone carved in a cubist manner. According to the inventory, the decoration of the entrance porch remains rooted in Art Deco, while the projecting eaves, the canopies, the three-dimensional windows and the treatment of the mullions already point to modernist currents. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
