Art Deco multi-family house in Wilrijk, built for Mrs August De Meyer to a June 1935 design by the architect Constant Wilbers. The façade of three storeys and two unequal bays, under a gabled roof with projecting eaves, is in brown brick on a base of darker, vertically laid brick; the two slightly projecting bays create a restrained vertical relief, balanced by a wide cemented band above the ground floor. The wide bay has a three-sided bay window on a stepped base on the first floor, topped on the second floor by a balcony with a brick parapet, and the second-floor windows are sheltered by wide white canopies. The panelled front door with Art Deco wrought iron and the original ground-floor joinery survive; according to the plans, the house contained three rental flats. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
