Ensemble of two mirror-image Art Deco town houses, designed in February 1926 by the architect Louis Goormans; Auguste Denys filed the building application for no. 30 in March 1926, Maurice Mutsaars that for no. 28 in December 1926. Under a shared slate roof, the brick façades, rendered on the upper floor, each have a three-sided oriel topped by a balcony and decorated with quoins of diagonally set bricks. The raised porches are crowned by a stepped brick pediment with a geometric relief of projecting vertical brick courses; the original wooden front doors survive.
