Art Deco town house built for Arthur Steurbaut to a 1923 design by the architect Jan Jacobs. The natural-stone cornice façade, with two unequal bays and four storeys under a flat roof, emphasises a broad side projection carrying a three-sided oriel over three storeys. The Art Deco character shows in the flower-basket motif of the oriel and in the wrought iron of the door, balcony and front-garden railing; the interior is fairly intact, with the monumental wooden staircase, fireplaces, parquet floors and a stained-glass window in the dining room. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
