Art Deco multi-family house designed in 1924 by the architect Florent Vaes as a property investment for his mother, the widow Richard Vaes. The carefully finished natural-stone cornice façade, three bays wide with four storeys under a flat roof, has an entirely regular composition, with the upper windows set between rectangular pilaster strips; balconies with wrought-iron railings mark the first and top floors. Keystones in the form of an Art Deco flower basket on the first floor are the only ornament; the building held four flats. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
