Apartment building in a sober Art Deco style, designed in 1925 by the architect Gerard De Ridder for Baron Robert de Kerchove d'Exaerde; it is one of the first of its kind on Jan Van Rijswijcklaan. The almost unornamented, symmetrical natural stone façade has five storeys and a slate pseudo-mansard, with two side projections with three-sided oriels, a loggia and a large dormer; a carriage entrance occupies the centre. Decoration is limited to panels with small medallions and dentilled mirrors on the attic storey; a Daelemans lift of 1925 survives. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
