Art Deco town house by the architect Franz Van Ruyskensvelde, 1922. The two-storey elevation, in brown brick and white stone on a bluestone base, has a central section treated as a projecting bay under a lean-to roof and crowned by a scalloped gable. On the ground floor, a recessed porch and a window are set beneath a tall round-arched opening with stone mullions; on the upper floor, a large stone-mullioned and transomed window is fronted at its centre by a trapezoidal bow window on a stone corbel decorated with an owl. The mansard roof is lit by a central dormer, the woodwork survives and the front garden retains its original bluestone low walls and railings. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
