Maison Art déco, avenue des Abeilles 5

Art Deco house designed in 1935 by the architect Servais Mayné. The three-bay, three-storey elevation under a mansard roof combines a blue-stone ground floor with orange-brick upper floors. The central bay is marked by a rectangular oriel with rounded corners, two storeys high and rising from ground level, pierced by the garage door and topped by a terrace. The window surrounds are stepped and the second floor has pointed (spur-shaped) windows; the joinery and ironwork survive, and the house is recorded in the inventory.
