Immeuble Motte — quartier des Carmes

An apartment and shop building dated 1928, on the corner of rue de Fer and rue des Croisiers, the first street of the Carmes district, laid out that same year. The architects Émile Dickschen and René Collin combined Art Deco and eclecticism: a brick and cast-stone façade enlivened by projections, a prominent cornice and a mansard roof pierced with dormers, the corner one crowned by a dome.
