Large Art Deco building resulting from the conversion in 1941 by the architect Yvan Blomme of two houses: no. 42 was rebuilt and the top storey of no. 44, designed in 1914 by the architect Jules Ghobert for himself, was altered. The upper storeys in white imitation stone, above a blue stone ground floor, are enlivened by two oriels, one curved at basement and ground-floor level and trapezoidal on the upper floors, the other trapezoidal, and by a trapezoidal balcony with a wrought-iron railing; a broad gabled dormer replaces the former storey under a pseudo-mansard. The glazed wrought-iron carriage door and the timber garage doors are preserved. The building is recorded in the legal inventory.
