Former workshop built in 1910 for Joseph Mellaerts, an industrial shutter manufacturer, behind an eclectic house on Rue du Duc, and converted into an Art Deco house by the architect Jean Finné in 1936. The façade, now whitewashed, was originally in cream-coloured brick with reinforced-concrete elements; the carriage entrance and pedestrian door have curved jambs. On the upper floor, an oriel extends into a balcony with a quarter-round corner, and the joinery, including the glazed metal doors, has been preserved. The building is recorded in the statutory inventory; it is not protected as a monument.
