Art Deco apartment building designed in 1928 by the architect David Moëd for Moïse Rapoport and his son-in-law Jules Wellner, who set up the project together with four other related families. In 1937 a set-back penthouse floor was added, designed at the end of 1936 by Jules Wellner and his partner Aron Samuel Freudman. The three-bay, six-storey façade, in red brick and render above a white-stone ground floor and a bluestone plinth, is articulated by three-sided oriels, and stylised triangular medallions adorn the parapets. The lift installed in 1935 by the firm E. Thièry survives.
