On the corner of the Rue des Carmes, this apartment building with a shop on the ground floor was designed in 1934 by the architect Léopold Thomé and contributes to the Art Deco coherence of the Carmes district. Its asymmetrical yellow-brick façade, four bays wide and four storeys high, is marked at the corner by a polygonal bow window beneath a stepped cornice. The decoration arises from the brickwork and numerous projections, complemented by stylised plant motifs in white cast stone. The mansard roof holds masonry dormers with wrought-iron railings featuring a flower-vase motif.
