Dark-brick apartment building erected in 1935, with a shop on the ground floor, which contributes to the Art Deco homogeneity of the Carmes district; its style is influenced by the Amsterdam School. Its five-storey gabled facade of two symmetrical bays is divided by a central pilaster and pierced by large horizontal windows. Geometric brick motifs, multiple stepped corners and a stepped gable characterise the elevation. At the rear, on Rue de l'Inquiétude, a three-storey facade under a central pediment is treated in the same way.
