Art Deco apartment building with a commercial ground floor, on the corner of Rue François Dons, designed by the architect Daniel Renier in 1935 (contractor Engema). The six-storey elevation under a flat-topped pseudo-mansard combines a bluestone base, a brick ground floor and rendered upper floors. Two oriels run up the upper floors, one across the angled corner bays, the other on the last bay towards the avenue, extended by curved balconies. The shopfront occupies the corner and the private entrance opens onto the avenue through a round-arched door with its original grille; the railings, joinery and original Jaspar lift survive. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
