Villa Surcouf — Knokke-Heist

The "Surcouf" villa in the Art Deco style, built in 1933 to designs by the architect Charles Hoge. The brick building is rendered entirely in grey cement. The façade decoration includes a painting of a ship in the gable and bas-reliefs, and leaded glass is used extensively in the windows. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
