Villa Léon Verbreyt

A detached complex designed in 1927 by Jan-Albert De Bondt, which the inventory ranks with the New Objectivity rather than Art Deco. A striking piece of brick architecture with varied volumes, set back and projecting, diverse brick bonds and window registers with stained glass in stylised floral motifs. The central part has a three-sided bow window topped by a triangular balcony. The building has been listed since 1996.
