Mgr. Stillemansstraat is a fairly homogeneous street of town houses, mostly of three storeys, built up within a very short span of time and still largely retaining its original character. The inventory records very colourful, sculpturally worked façades with predominantly Art Deco features, together with a few modernist touches. Several architects worked here, among them August and Leander Waterschoot, Joseph Van Coillie, Alfons Stoop and André Verbeke, and the street is protected as an urban site.
