Art Deco villa designed in 1926 by the architect Emiel Janssens for L. Weckx, on the corner with Venneborglei. Influenced by the Amsterdam School, it stands out for its dynamic silhouette and expressive use of materials: red brick punctuated by bands of brick-on-edge courses, a decorative undulating cement rendering below the broad cornice and a pseudo-mansard covered with red tiles. The composition culminates in a tower-like corner section flanked by three-sided oriels with balconies; the stair hall retains Art Deco wrought ironwork and a stained-glass window inspired by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
