Semi-detached Art Deco house designed in 1927 by Louis Schuerwegh for De Ridder, in Deurne. In a very sober form of Art Deco, whose bay-window decoration (garland, flattened rosette) partly echoes the Beaux-Arts style, the brown-brick façade on a bluestone plinth combines a wide bay under a truncated gable, with three-sided bay windows in white natural stone, and a narrow door bay. The door with Art Deco grille, the joinery and the original garden railing survive. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
