Two similar apartment buildings in the Art Deco style framing both corners of square Vergote and avenue Général Lartigue, designed in 1935 by the architects F. Dewitte and Guillaume Vermeiren for no. 10 and by Vermeiren alone for no. 10b. The eight-storey elevations, in red brick and white imitation stone with white stone details, combine rounded corner bays with ribbon windows, giant brick pilasters and set-back attic storeys crowned by two domes, with vases and griffins as decoration. The inventory entry notes remarkable original ironwork with stylised fleurs-de-lis, an entrance porch with fountains depicting a young woman holding a jug, and marble entrance halls with stained glass showing a stylised fountain.
